Oy . . . some of you already know this, but I've got something coming up that is taking pretty much ALL of my waking attention and energy at the moment. And it's not even happened yet! @,@

Hiatusing at least until the 17th/18th - what I'm working/aiming for right now is on the 17th, and while it's completely positive and I'm excited out of my mind for the possibilities if it goes though, it's...completely TANKED my rp drive right now.

Activity Check for Kismet Loop is every two months. We had our first round the first week of December. The next one will begin February 1st and will cover activity for the months of December and January. Please see here for how ACs are run. However, for the February AC ONLY, the mods are making one minor change.

December is a difficult time all around, even when it's wholly positive stuff. Major holidays, family gatherings, travel, more shifts and/or longer hours at work (especially for anyone in retail), finals for those still in school . . . KL's AC requirements are deliberately easy, but December doings can make even those hard to meet.

For the February AC ONLY, you will only need to provide one qualifying example of AC as well as the AC Summary for each character in game, and you have all of January yet to reach that. We will return to the usual two examples with the April AC which will cover February and March.

Hey guys! Wolfeh here~

From now until January 6th, I'm going to be putting myself on hiatus to let the holiday season cool down. Between family holiday stuff and then work being really busy because of people traveling for the holidays, I can't keep up with the game the way I'd like to.

So! For the next two weeks, my boy will be on auto-pilot; Predaking mostly just lurking about and trying to get use to this new Cybertron.

My laptop, which is my primary connection at home, is officially dead, and I don't have a replacement for it yet - I'm hoping to have one by around the first of the year (ideally sooner). Dreamwidth is blocked at work, so that's out. I do have other ways of getting online at home, but they either require borrowing someone else's desktop (like I'm doing now) or using my phone or tablet, neither of which are comfortable for any length of time as portals to the internet.

I'll tag and keep up on mod duties whenever I can, but my activity is likely to be hella slow between this, long work hours, and of course the holidays and everything that entails.

Just letting everyone know.

AC closes tonight. The time given up till now has been midnight PST. However, of our mods, two live in EST which means that's 3am. The other two live in PST, but one is in bed well before that due to EXTREMELY early work days, and the other really shouldn't be staying up that late either.

We are changing the closing time to midnight EST. That is 9pm PST. We were going to wait until after the close of the current AC and make that change starting with the next AC, but the only one it'd be fair to ask to stay up that late just can't tonight.

Everyone still has over four hours before we close AC, plus it's been open for a week. Everyone who's going to hit AC really should have by now as it is.

From now on, AC posts as well as Reserves and Applications, will open and close at 12EST/9PST any days that they go up.

Hello everyone.

I hate to do this because I had a lot of fun with him but I am dropping blurr form the game. The muse died on me after 3 years of playing him but it's been fantastic to have the opportunity to bother your characters with him.

Blurr is just going to disappear out of the blue, his small firelizard with him. Frank, his turbofox, will still be in the game. If Jabbers mun is okay with it Sentinel can keep him C: If not, then assuem Frank is running around yipping and trying to find his master.

I am also going on hiatus until Christmas time is over. I am a bit burned out because there's too much going on with my two jobs and another game to handle everything at once.

Sorry and thank you for the great times!

I really hate having to do this, considering that the game is still very new and I was very excited when I first heard about it, but I'm going to have to drop for now. With work being so busy for the past couple of months it only left me with enough energy to play one character in one game. Unfortunately Kismet was my second game and there was no way I had enough tags for either of my characters for the first AC, so you know what that means.

BUT, I do intend to re-apply when things settle down and my time management skills have improved with my new career. So, this is just good-bye for now and hope to be back soon.

Of course this means that Rose and the derpy kitty are no longer in play. Lets just say for IC sake they both went off exploring. Rose is taking her time and noting details of this new Cybertron, and Ravage.... Well, something distracted him and now he's lost somewhere.

A narrative summarizing the end of the battle has just been posted. Please see the post here.

I was deliberately vague with who did what, exactly. If anyone wants to jump in and claim actions, or just coordinate how things went down for your characters for later CR, please feel free to do so either there or here. As of now, this took place almost a month ago. Life has gotten back to normal, including healing. Those poor souls who should have died in the explosion last month, shortly before Galos's final move, have done so, and everyone else has recovered nicely.

THANK YOU SO MUCH from all of the mod staff for jumping into this new game with us and for participating in this first major plot - and to our new players for joining us now as well! We wanted to start things off with a bang. We promise that things will not be this grand normally.

As the holiday season is approaching, the mod staff has discussed doing an Item Drop in the next week or so, if there seems to be interest. Also, we do have a Random Events page and a Plots page.

We hope you have all been enjoying the game so far, and will continue to do so!

Just a quick reminder that Kismet Loop's first Activity Check will be going up tomorrow night at midnight PST (that gives you guys all of Monday, Dec 1st as well as the rest of the week to post your AC). AC will be up for ONE WEEK, closing Sunday, Dec 7th at midnight PST. Characters accepted in this first application round are exempt. However, please be sure to read over the post, so that you know what to expect for next time, which will be the first of February (AC is every two months).

Also, as there was no feedback on the last post regarding plot wrap-up, we are going to go ahead with the summary. The plot posts went up on the first of November, so it's safe to assume that things were done with by a day or few days after that. In other words, life is "back to normal" by now. Feel free to play as such.

That's right! KL's first AC will go up December 1st. It will be open for one week, so be sure you tag into it before midnight PST on the 7th. If you have any questions about what AC will look like, please see this previous post. In this case, the active time period will be from October 1st to November 30th. We deliberately made AC pretty easy, but if you still don't have it yet, now's the time to make sure you do!

And secondly, regarding the current plot - it was our thought to have it wrapped up by the end of this month (originally, before Lunnaei left on vacation). We discussed posting a summary of how things end, but we wanted to open up to the playerbase for discussion before we presumed to do so. Thoughts, guys?
