The bimonthly Activity Check is almost upon us once more. As our game continues to be a leisurely one for the time being, the mods have decided that we will not be requiring links to activity to pass AC. As we did with the February AC, everyone will just be required to check in and give a brief summary of what their character(s) has/have been up to.

So to pass AC, you just have to two simple things:

1 - Tag in! Old, new, just accepted a minute before midnight the day before, whatever - everyone is being asked to reply to AC.

2 - Provide an Activity Summary. As it says in the text on the other side of the link, this can be as brief or as detailed as you'd like, so long as there is something present.

Feel free to hit up this post or PM the mod journal with any questions you might have.

EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT


In the spirit of the season, this event is going to be a doubt whammy. Valentines Day is February 14 and Chinese New Year is February 19. You know what that means? We're celebrating both!

Valentines Day Event
On February 14 hundreds of thousands of valentines cards will litter the streets of Haven, stirred up by the wind to float through the city like confetti. Anyone who reads a card will develop intense feelings for the next person they speak to. Do you fall madly in love with your next conversational partner? Do you become lustfully obsessed? Or perhaps, instead of love, intense hate buds in your heart? Maybe even extreme guilt? Over what? Perhaps that not-so-flattering thought you had about them last month.

Whatever the feelings, you now have to work out what to do with them. Do you profess your undying love? Do you try to seduce your target into bed? Or maybe you plot their murder? Or perhaps you think of every way you can to gain their forgiveness?

You are welcome to read more than one card, of course, and speak to as many as you like. Plan, play, and have fun with the fallout.

Chinese New Year
As you likely know by now, this is the year of the Ram. In honor of the new year there will be various areas around Haven that will give you certain...characteristics. If you happen upon one of these areas you will find yourself with a lovely set of ram's horns and ears, and a compulsive need to ram your head against hard surfaces or other people.
