Metaplot Sign-Ups

kismet_loop_modsIt is time for the next phase of this metaplot to begin.
So here's a quick run-down of what's happened so far:
~The Lambda has exploded in your face, resulting in a temporal rip that has hauled you some 1,000 years into Haven's future. (Asking around, you won't find anyone who's been here longer than 500+ [most of the Guardians] so they wouldn't know, but actual number is around 1,000.)
~Yes, you are indeed in the future of Haven, the same one you were in before. The temples of the First-forged are in ruins, and the city has changed, but it is the home you once knew. (Which you're welcome to explore - more info is here).
~People aren't healing as they should be. This includes all people, from organics to robots...and there seems to be no scientific evidence as to why. (Yes, I'm looking at you, Blackarachnia and Knock Out - science has failed you in this instance. No experiments have showed any scientific reason...though...they may have noted a strange ambient energy through the city that seems different and yet similar to the Miasma. Aside from that, they'll not have been able to discover much.)
~With the recent explosion, our stand-in doctor has learned that those who should have died...aren't dying. They're not getting better, but neither are they dying as they "should be" considering their injuries. (Ah...news post for this will be going up soon.)
~Along with the non-healing injuries and people not dying, people have gone missing. Including, most recently, the healer Guardian, Paian.
And that brings us to the now. In a few days, more people will go missing, but this time, those people are going to be some of you.
What does this mean? It means that some PCs will be left in the city wondering where some of their friends have gone, and some PCs will be spirited off to some unknown location where they'll find themselves suddenly part of the mystery.
Please note: BOTH SIDES WILL HAVE THINGS TO DO!
What will being kidnapped mean for your character?
~They'll likely be injured
~They could be party or witness to disturbing things
~They'll have choices to make that will not only affect them but all of the city
Those not kidnapped will have quite a fight on their hands.

As we've got only 15 player characters in-game right now, we'll be accepting 8 characters (about half our number) to be kidnapped for the metaplot. They will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you play more than one character, please only volunteer one for kidnapping.
