I'm gonna be running a Blue Matter Shenanigans plot sometime in the next couple months- probably October as some effects can be used for halloween shenanigans! I'll be posting a more detailed plot-post later after Pennsic but the basic rundown is, Spine during his malfunction had been shooting his Blue Matter array way toooooo much so now there are micro-rifts and over the course of a few weeks they will be opening wider which means many different options for shenanigans and drama (The longer they are open the more potential for badstuff as bigger rip- more stuff can appear.)

And I'm thinking one of the rifts leads to somewhere where there is lots of Green Matter so there could be a fucked up turfwar/zombie shenanigans too.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas? Toss em my way and I'll see what I can do with em. XD

Health, life, and the universe in general have been improving for the members of the mod team and we would like to get this game kicked back into feeling more like a real game again, and we feel we need to know who's truly still with us before we can properly proceed. Without having had any Activity Checks for some time, we feel this is the best way to gauge genuine player interest versus character squatting.

Hi, this is Dragon with another character. This is Thundercracker who's VERY loosely G1-ish and very VERY AU-ish. Long story short, there's never been an Autobot/Decepticon war because Megatron pursued his rebellion/conquest from the inside out, working his way up the military and convincing The Power That Be to "unite" the city/states of Cybertron under Iacon's rule . . . with the "help" of the might of the military, of course. Vos, proud home of the Seekers, was the first to fall for refusing to give up their autonomy. Winglord Starscream was executed as an example to his people and all survivors, including his remaining trinemates, were taken into slavery.

Nobody remembers/cares about Vos anymore, or that Seekers weren't always the scum at the bottom of the proverbial food chain, even among the slave castes. TC and Warp managed to stay together all these countless megavorns until they were finally recently separated . . . and even more recently got he what he believes is confirmation of Warp's death, having found his trine brother's wings on the table of a Black Market dealer during his last escape attempt. He took it to replace his own that he was missing and to have something left to him of his wingmate...and everything else that he's lost.

This TC is a ball of suppressed rage, unresolved grief, and abuse issues . . . but he'll calm down and be decent once he finally accepts that, no, everyone around him isn't going to mock/abuse/taunt/turn him in as a runaway.

Also, he's never seen or even heard of organics before. This should be interesting.

So I was thinking it would be kind of nice to have a little listing of where everybody's set up (even if that is by and large 'somewhere in the Hub's apartments') and maybe a bit of a blurb on what their living spaces are like.

OK SO!

I was thinking of doing a little plotty-ness with my idiot robut. Basically he’s been living alone so no one has been able to really notice the warning signs of a very particular kind of malfunction.

AKA: Kiwi wants to play with warbot malfunctions!

This has the potential to be fairly serious- The Spine is outfitted to take down large mechanical elephants- while more technically advanced Cybertronians are still mechanical and so can potentially be affected by at the very least the Blue Matter Array (aka Ray Gun), and just how hard the brat can hit. And given he can lift a tank… yeah, there’s potential for some folk to get roughed up if their muns want to, to say nothing of smaller citizens and general property damage. Figure he wigs out, it’s probably solved same day, at least insofar as containing him goes (He’s not as good about remembering to top his boiler in warbot state so if no one can contain him then he’ll shut down from that)

I was hoping to do it sometime next week (as I’ve got break and can focus a bit more on tagging) but I saw that there’s a request system so I’m not sure if I need to go through that or not. Mods chime in please?

Otherwise this is a catchall post- plot out stuff, ask me questions, figure out if you want your character involved at all or not!

It's time again for another event. I know this is a crazy busy time of year, so this event will be simple.

Starting Wednesday, November 25, and going until December 5, it will be RAINING FOOD!

( Those coulds are looking ominous... )

The food will come in all types, including the energon variety. And if you don't mind picking your food up off the ground, or if you're good enough to catch it before it lands it's all edible and very delicious.

Here's a rough schedule to the food/fuel fall:

11/25 to 11/28 - Food and fuel will start to fall. The quantities aren't too much, just looks like the city had a large food fight.

11/28 to 11/30 - Not only the quantity but the size of the food will increase. Everything is ten times the size of normal. Better watch out, you don't want a concussion from a bread roll.

12/1 to 12/3 - Portions will continue to increase! That burger has gotten to the size of a normal energon cube! And those energon cubes?! They're starting to damage houses! Oh no!

12/4 to 12/5 - Small people should probably stay inside. While the amount that comes down will start to abate, the size has become ridiculous. Yes, that building is now covered with a giant pancake. And that pizza slice is the size of a car. By evening of the 5th the food/fuel rain will stop.

December will be clean up month. The city is a mess, and all this stuff will rot eventually. Sorry guys.

Good afternoon. I've finally made some long overdue changes and updates, and now I need your help to make sure everything is actually done right and I didn't miss anything.

*** Please look over the Mod/Player Contact Page and the Taken Page to make sure all of your information is correct and reads the way you want it to read.

*** Everyone's character now has a tag in both the network comm and the log comm. If you have not already, be sure to go tag any posts you have made or logs you've tagged into. If a tag for your character doesn't exist or is inactive, please comment here.

*** If anyone finds that a character journal no longer has access to something it should (got dropped from a comm by mistake - sorry, there was a LOT to comb through), please either comment here or just go ahead and rejoin. Dropping of current characters from comm access would be purely a mistake of mine and will be readily corrected.

So as some may know from plurk, I ran smack dab into a tech issue. Namely the keyboard on my laptop stopped working. Good news is it's still under warranty, so is being sent in for repairs. Bad news is, this leaves me without a computer. And while I have a tablet and phone, as anybody knows they're a pain tag with.

So to be safe, I'm going on hiatus till I get it back. Starting Monday(11/9), and probably going till about the 23rd. Could be shorter or longer depending on them. This affects Bulkhead and Bumblebee.

Both my guys will be on autopilot. Bulkhead busy getting/adjusting to a new alt. Bee...probably trying to organize police stuff.

I will be doing back tags by the tablet, even if slow.

Hi, all. It's the absentee semi-modly thing, aka Dragon. As I'm sure everyone's noticed, I've been basically completely out of the game for some time. This is me getting myself back in. To that end, a few things...

One - I've been talked into bringing in a new character. This is the knitted doll from a two-part series of point/click HOS games called "Stray Souls". He is the player's sidekick (and hint button). He's a magical construct that was created to protect his creator's brother when the time came. He doesn't look like much, but hey, the game ended with him facing down and defeating a horde of demons to allow the humans in his protection to escape. He - well, technically "it" - will develop a gender as he comes more into his own as a person and not /just/ a construct created to fulfill a purpose. He'll also gain a name somewhere along the way (Sam's going to name him) as in the game he's never really given one.

Two - I think I've finally figured out a big part of why I've been struggling in the game for so long. While I run three of the NPCs, I only have (had, before the doll's acceptance) one PC in the game, Thundercracker. While I still love him a lot, he's...gotten kind of boring to play, to be honest. By that I mean, I've been playing him long enough - through two consecutive, related games - that he's pretty much developed about as far as I can think to take him. I'm going to wrap up a couple old threads I've been asked to play out, but otherwise, I'm going to go ahead and let him go. This version, at least. Another thing I've been talked into is, sooner or later, to bring in an AU version of him that I have. That will come later, when I finish his app. But for now, canon!Thundercracker is a victim of the Miasma, disappearing back home. I will figure out later what will happen to his anniversary-given pet. His four fire lizards - Numbers, Screamer, Cracker, and Sky - will seek out Jadewing as they've been trained to do if they can't find TC.

Third - when Lunnaei and I started this game, one of the things we decided from the start was that the game's NPCs - the Guardians - would be available to the players/PCs as desired. While either of us can play any of the NPCs, each one is primarily played by one or the other. For me, that's Death, Wheeljack, and Rathan. So if anyone wants any of these three Guardians for anything, please feel free to speak up! They're available for interaction by request.

Aaaaaand I think that's everything. HUGE APOLOGIES!!!!! for my fail here so far. This is me getting back on the ball. I'll be putting up the knitted doll's IC intro tomorrow.
