Onwards Towards Progress!
It's been nearly a month since everyone arrived in their new home, and so they've had time to explore, at least a little. If there are any doubts, let me put them at ease, this is Haven, the same Haven everyone came from when the Lambda exploded. Clearly with changes, but the same place nonetheless.
If you're curious about some of the changes feel free to check out the World pages. Any place listed here is open for exploration.
Also, the plot progresses! Some of your characters may know that wounds aren't healing, and that even the Guardian with healing powers wasn't able to fully heal the injured. And now that Guardian is gone. That's right, Paian is missing, and the hospital has just been flooded with the critically injured from the explosion just reported.
A couple things to note:
1. If you wish your character to be near where the explosion happened, when it happened, you can do this. Feel free to tag into the News post with an action thread or to make a post of your own. Please note, that they'll not have been near enough for any serious injuries.
2. If you wish your character to show up at the hospital, you're welcome to do so. Two other Guardians will be moving in there to try to help as best they can. One or both may crash any threads or posts made by characters in the hospital.
3. At this time some characters may have heard that people have gone missing. Paian's disappearance has just been announced, but he's not the only one that's gone missing since before your arrival here. It his believed to NOT be due to the Miasma; it doesn't fit the pattern. Though your characters are welcome to conduct their own experiments and come to their own conclusions.
4. A final note to the current circumstances, there will be absolutely no fatalities from the explosion.
On an OOC note, three-quarters of your mod team will be at TFCon over the coming weekend. This means replies from NPCs may be a bit slow. The next IC plot update will be put up on November 1.
