PLEASE NOTE: After some deliberation, the mods have made one major change and one minor one - don't worry, they're both in everyone's favor. Major change - for this AC only, you will not be required to provide any samples of qualifying activity, due to the holidays and the slowness of January. Just the summary is required. Minor change - we are asking that ALL CHARACTERS post to AC, including our newbies. Please see more below.

AC RULES:

++ Copy/paste and fill out the above textbox in a comment to this post. You may comment once for all of your characters or make separate comments for each, as you choose.
++ This check is for activity spanning from DECEMBER 1 to JANUARY 31.
++ You will need only an Activity Summary for each character in-game. (See below for details.)
++ Characters accepted in the most recent Application round are not required provide an AC Summary. They will, however, be expected to check in this time around, and to provide AC starting with the next check.
++ You have one week from the date of this posting to submit AC for all of your characters.


ACTIVITY SUMMARY:
An activity summary consists of a small paragraph explaining what your character has been up to since the previous Activity Check (or since arriving in the game if you are new). This can be as simple or as detailed as you would like! At the minimum, be sure to hit any events your character has participated in (either game events or character plots) and where they're currently residing. If you'd like to get more detailed (such as drawing up CR charts, mentioning what Guardian they've talked with, or adding links) we're not going to stop you, as this will make a handy future reference for you as well as for us!

The activity summary will help the mods in determining future Guardian plans or interactions for your characters, and especially will keep us from missing anything important about your character. In no way will your activity summary have any effect on you passing or failing activity check, unless it is completely absent. In other words, doing the minimum on this won't hurt you, although going above and beyond can certainly help!


EXCLUSIONS AND EXEMPTIONS:
All characters are expected to participate in an Activity Check. If a character has been in the game for a month or more, he/she must have an Activity Summary. Anyone who arrived in the most recent application cycle won't be expected to provide any samples of activity or a summary for that AC, but they must at least check in so we know they are present and consider themselves active in the game, even if they don't have "enough" activity yet to show of it.

In order to qualify for an exemption to the Activity Check, you must have posted a hiatus of 2 weeks or longer to the official hiatus page during the period covered by the Activity Check. You may not request back-to-back exemptions, regardless of any length hiatus you may take. If you are unable to meet the requirements for activity due to real-life circumstances/an emergency, you MUST communicate with the mods before the end of the Activity Check.


FAILING ACTIVITY CHECK
If you fail to post to an Activity Check within the week that it is open and you have not contacted the mods beforehand, then any characters not posted will be dropped from the game. The mods will put up a list of characters in danger of being dropped at the end of Activity Check, at which point you (the character's player) will have three days to contact the mods and provide AC and an explanation for failing it. After those three days have passed, the drops will be official, and the characters will be removed from the Taken list and Player Contact page.

Character: Deckard
Activity Summary: Deckard hasn't been up to much. Visibly, anyway. He's spent a lot of the past two months with Gunmax, just being there for him as he's been trying to heal from his ordeal. He did drag his brother out for an excursion that Jadewing headed, to the ruins in the south. Prima's former domain. He'd REALLY like to know what happened to the great First-forged. Most recently, he attended the Guardians' party . . . whoo boy. On a side note, he's finally gotten in on the police force here again, so that's been a good thing for him.

Character: Thundercracker
Activity Summary: Thundercracker has been up to even less. Mostly reconnecting with his trinemates. He's . . . he's asked Bulkhead to join his trine (or will as soon as the convo RL'ly gets far enough). He attended the party, and…uh…unintentionally insulted the fairy Guardian Irja. He WILL be seeking her out later to apologize.

Character: Raiden
Activity Summary: Raiden was not around Haven in December. In midish-January, he showed up in the northern sector and proceeded to walk to town. On the way, he met Breakdown and Skylynx and talked with them a bit, and he mistook Blitzwing briefly for a friend of his. Later, he posted to the network inquiring about a sciencey type (he ended up talking to Wheeljack and the head doctor about possibly synthesizing more fuel packs for him) and what to do when bored. In addition to the Guardians, Raiden talked a bit with Sam (who seems to come from a close-enough Earth to share pop culture references), Maya Fey (who totally sees dead people), and Elsa (whose curiosity he decided to indulge a bit). Raiden and Maya made some plans to try and jump a car into a helicopter a la Live Free or Die Hard... that will probably happen in Feb. sometime if they can find the right vehicles. Raiden also spent a while talking to Rose, and is now of the opinion that this is some kind of insane science experiment.

Character: Wing
Activity Summary: Wing has done some exploring with some friends, and has tried to get to know some of the Guardians, at least a little. He's had it confirmed that Unicron is alive, and within Cybertron, though unconscious. He's since spent time keeping up his skills and helping out new friends. Most notably Sam with a messaging ritual she wanted to try out. At the gathering set up by the Guardians he ended up with the giggles

Character: Jendayi
Activity Summary: She's been getting settled in. She went exploring at one point and completely freaked out her current guardian, Lea. She didn't meant to! And she had a wonderful time with Predaking, but yeah. In any case, she's been making a few friends and despite missing her Papa, she's settling in okay. At the gathering set up by the Guardians she ended up drunk.

Character: Breakdown
Activity Summary: Okay, so he's not require to have this, but just for the record, he's arrived, is awkward turtle with all his new friends, and is trying to settle in and figure out what the hell is going on around here.

Character: Maya Fey
Activity Summary: Maya wasn't in Haven in December. She showed up in Mid-January in the South sector in the middle of the lake. It was cold. She met Breakdown and Skylynx and then walked to town. She met Rose, who had been to Haven once, and was now back again. Maya learned about the First Forged from Rose, and is very concerned that there are beings out there that can just reverse death. Later, she met Raiden when he made a network post about science stuff. Raiden's a smaller robot man, and probably sometime in February they are going to drive a car through a helicopter. And while Raiden might actually get to drive, Maya only gets to film it, because she doesn't want to be dead people. Maya also made a network post of her own, asking if anyone needed her services as a lawyer and/or a spirit medium. There she met Sam, Deckard, Wing, and Dirge. Dirge really needs to work on his people skills, but everyone else was quite nice. Maya also met Sirrah, who is one of the Guardians and a Ghooost Energy Cat, much to Maya's surprise. (She thought all of the Guardians were Giant Robot people.) Maya also managed to find a tiny apartment and name her little drone robot. So she might not have been here for very long, but she's been busy.

Character: Rose
Summary: After disappearing for months, Rose reappears at the edge of Haven with no memory of where she was. She is now going to join the Police Force.

Character: Bulkhead
Activity Summary: Bulkhead was asked by TC to be in the Trine with him, Jadewing and Wing(?). He also talked to Wheeljack and Death, and went ruins exploring with others to find out answers. He was later at the party(or will be once I tag it. /hides). Then Breakdown showed up not long after Knock Out disappeared, and he had issues talked to him.

Character: Skylynx
Activity Summary: Skylynx has only been in the game a month or so, having arrived in January. But he woke up, and greeted by Predaking, Raiden, Maya, and others.

Character:Lea
Activity Summary: Lea's been busy these past months. Had his first fight with his girlfriend, then made up later (complete with first kiss, which was awesome. He talked with death, and got some things about his experiences in the cave and afterwards off his chest. He also kinda-sorta adopted a small child. Then attended the bonfire party, managing to keep his head while everyone was losing theirs. Lots of fun all around.

Character: Jadewing
Activity Summary: Jadewing spoke with Dirge, and finally got the long planned exploration expedition underway, checking out the Southern ruins with a group of others. He also attended the Guardian's party with was... interesting, to say the least.

Character: Samantha Patchowski
Activity Summary: Having arrived in early December, Sam's been busy since. She spoke with Dirge and then Predaking shortly after finding herself in Haven, and although the conversation with Dirge didn't well at all, Predaking proved much more agreeable---she and he offered to help each other however they could, and have since become friends. Sam also met (and befriended!) Wing soon after arriving, as the Knight was nice enough to offer her a tour. All three Cybertronians (plus Irja) helped Sam prepare for and attempt a message-sending ritual.

The effort was fairly fruitful, since:
- Getting supplies meant raiding the Warehouse, and a face-to-face encounter with Dirge. Sam bartered with the seeker so that he'd find some supplies for her, but the conversation when she came to collect them crossed onto the topics of eating people and why that's bad, aaand eventually culminated in Sam telling Dirge that if he ate or otherwise murdered anybody she'd strip him of the ability to taste. She also explained that murdering her wasn't a way out, since she'd haunt him and wreck everything he had.
- Visiting the farm with Wing and meeting Irja was a good experience.
- Predaking gave her a ride to an ideal river, and riding a robotic dragon for a flight over an alien world is the single coolest thing she's ever done.
- The ritual worked! ...to an extent. Testing it with Wing proved ritually-prepared messages can reach people planetside, but the same preparations fail if the message is addressed to anyone off-world. Bummer. :(

Despite her experience with Dirge, Sam had a chat with the other green seeker and accompanied Jadewing and others to explore some ruins. She also met Elsa, and the two got to know each other while looking at apartments. At the bonfire party, they got to know each other better and kinda tried to talk magic even though Elsa was... inebriated. Sam was too happy to hear of other spellcasters to be discouraged, and besides: a happy, huggy Elsa is adorable. Also at the bonfire:
- More chitchat with Jadewing! He seems like a pretty okay guy.
- Face-to-face hellos and a handshake for Lea, once tags happen.
- A hello to Rathan, since she's heard he's the go-to dude dragon for magical concerns.
- A conversation with Death... Who seems like a 'Martin' and will probably be addressed as such from here on out because that's one way to minimize how unnerving the entity actually is.

Also, prior to the bonfire:
- Met Wheeljack, who was nice enough to offer to modify a skidoo for a dry ground default. No rush on it, but Sam's been tooling around on the resulting streetdoo since the start of January.
- Met Paian, admired his magnificent facial hair, and made arrangements to have new tattoos done at his hospital (with the spa in the south stencilling). Sam's since been back for one tattoo session, figuring she'd best be prepared if Dirge does start something.
- Helped look for Jendayi when Lea reported her missing.

Following the bonfire:
- checked in with Elsa in the event of any hangover/post-party embarrassment.
- began to seriously consider a Haven Curling Club
- welcomed new arrivals Skylynx, Breakdown, Blitzwing, Raiden, and Maya, and also Rose, who isn't exactly new.
- accompanied Breakdown to the hospital to have the crater in his face treated, and gave him a few pointers on the literal handling of humans
- took Maya for a spin on the streetdoo, and, more importantly, to get burgers and poutine
- informed Dirge that, despite the miasma bringing a medium in, murder still would not help him

Character:Elsa

Activity Summary: Elsa made a few new friends and has been slowing branching out. Despite this, the fight with Galos left her emotionally stinted and she shut herself back up in another ice castle with the intention of never hurting anyone again, including Lea, of whom she had a heated argument with over the loss of control.

She met death, briefly, and decided that upon meeting him, that what she thought she truly feared was not to be. She was never afraid to die, and likely, never would be.

After she was reasoned with, she made fast friends with Jendayi and Sam, two other magic users. Jendayi reflected herself and Elsa quickly wanted to make sure the little one knew she had friends no matter what, and Sam reflected mostly, Anna, which tugged at Elsa's heartstrings briefly. Getting to know the two made her reuniting with Lea a lot easier; they forgave each other, and shared a kiss. Or three, or more.

Not long after she brushed shoulders with Dirge over the public consumption of goods.

Sam and her decided to go apartment hunting, something she seriously needed to consider, only because ice castles are not very sociable.

She then rounded up this round by getting hella fucked up at the bonfire, only to get more fucked up with a few glasses of champagne. She finally relayed to Sam her identity, which...only made her seem to like Elsa more. No problems there.

Character: Blackarachnia
Activity Summary: She really hasn't been up to much other than poking her nose around here and there. Blackarachnia really just laying low for now. [primarily because RL and holidays kicked my ass a little when it came to motivation]

Character: Drift
Activity Summary: man Drift's done a whole lot of sticking to Wing and the last couple months have been bananasbonkers IRL so that's about it for him. SO EXCITING.

Character: Gunmax
Activity Summary: Gunmax has been keeping to himself mostly, still trying to figure out how to deal with the whole little kid dying thing. He's like 2 years old give him a break ok ok. He's been sticking pretty close to Deckard, and went along on a little ADVENTURE thing. Basically he's playing tag along to Deckard while he works himself out it's all very exciting (not really). And then he got megadrunk at the party and probably made an ass of himself at least twice.

Character: Dirge
Activity Summary: Since arriving Dirge has tried to break his comm bot in a nefarious scheme to obtain more, tried to claim and ultimately moved into the warehouse, found out about human witches and spirit mediums, had his behavior carefully policed by...just about everyone, ate at the restaurant until they either cut him off or he couldn't eat anymore, and is still trying to figure out how to gain the ghost cat's power without having to belong to her.

Character: Predaking
Activity Summary: For the most part, Predaking has just been trying to settle into this odd place. He's made friends in Sam, Wing, and Jendayi specifically and has found himself with one of his fellow Predacons to keep him company now as well. All in all, he's slowly finding a way to fit in here.
