July is quickly approaching, it's just around the corner. In the US July 4th is a day of celebration, most commonly celebrated with fireworks. And what do fireworks mean? Explosions.

Starting Midnight EST July 3, and ending Midnight EST July 13 Haven will be rocked with all kinds of explosions.

Some of these explosions will be harmless, nothing more than bright lights, loud noises, maybe even a proper firework bursting in the sky and raining harmless sparks of color. Or perhaps they're just so small they do nothing more than leave a smudge of soot on the wall.

Other explosions will not be harmless at all. They will rock buildings, blow out windows or even walls. Hopefully you're not caught in any of these explosions.

Explosions can be of any size or type you'd like, and do as much or as little damage as you want (within reason, okay?)

And to add yet one more element to this insanity, these explosions just might seem to follow your character. Your character may start to feel like they're being stalked, watched. They just might think they get a glimpse of someone if they look in just the right direction right after an explosion.

Plot, ask questions, have fun!

Soundwave, Shattered Glass Prime edition. Unlike his cool, collected, vicious alternate, Soundwave is a chatty, socially awkward walking accident who literally, seriously never shuts up.

Memorial Day is coming up fast, so what’s that mean? It means things are going to get strange around Haven for a little while.

Starting midnight EST on Saturday May 23 Haven will be filled with ghosts.

These ghosts can be a number of different things:

People who’ve died – well, duh! That’s what ghost’s are, right? There someone from your character’s home who is dead in canon? They can be seen walking the streets of Haven.

People who you know – The ghost seen doesn’t have to be someone who’s died, they can just be someone your character knows. A close friend or family member? An enemy? Maybe someone they cut ties with years ago and never thought they’d see again (especially now that they’re in this place).

People currently in Haven – That’s right. It is entirely possible to see the ghost of the person standing right next to you!! How freaky is that?

People you don’t know – Not all ghosts have to be someone you know. A random spirit crossing your path can be just as disturbing.

What will these spirits be doing?

They’ll be haunting people.

Sunday and Monday the spirits will just wander the streets and homes of Haven, oblivious to the living around them.

Tuesday and Wednesday the spirits will start to target people. They’ll latch onto a character, following them, talking to them in whispers that can’t quite be made out, and even touching them. Try to ignore them too much and they might just give you a shove when you’re about to go down a flight of stairs or are standing near a window.

Thursday and Friday the spirits will more insistent towards those they’ve chosen to haunt, and their words more clearly heard. If you can make yourself listen perhaps you’ll hear what it is they want from you. Every ghost will want something. If you’re not sure what to have your ghost require feel free to ask a mod on this post for ideas. It can be anything. A task, and item, for your character to say a certain phrase. If your character is haunted by more than one spirit they’ll all want something different. It can be as simple or as complicated as you wish.

Saturday at midnight EST the spirits who receive what they wanted will fade away. The rest will remain to haunt their chosen host, though the intensity will back off to occasional disruptions rather than the constant hounding of Thursday and Friday. Those that never chose a person to haunt will also disappear from Haven.

Taking a brief break. Brain's been noping out on me for tags for the past several days, plus starting tomorrow I've got a really full schedule of various things going on, some more stressful than others. Nothing bad - mostly really good, even! - but...still taxing. SO.
