Happy Anniversary

Today is a special day Kismeters. As of today, KL has been going for one year. That's right, it's the one year anniversary of the game. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate your interest in the game, and that you've stuck with us this long.

At this point we'd like to take a moment to do a few things.

1. AC Pass
Because of the special occasion, we're allowing everyone a free pass with AC this month. Just remember to post to the Hiatus/Drop page if you need a break or decide to drop the game.

2. Game HMD
That's right. Consider this an HMD post for the game. What are we doing right? What could we do better at? Please be constructive. If we're lacking in an area (and I'm sure we are, no one's perfect), please give us some ideas of how we might improve.

3. Let us pick your brains.
What sorts of things do you want to see in the future of this game? If there's something you want to see done, or something you want to have happen, let us know. We'd love to have your ideas. Have an idea for an event? Let us hear it!

4. We have a gift for you
All those currently in the city will wake up today with a new pet. Each person and their pets are listed below, but before that here are a few things to know about all the pets.

1. Your pet will approach your character however you decide. It can just appear from thin air, wander up beside them, or it can be found snuggling close the moment your character wakes. Whatever you like.
2. You're stuck with your pet. For those who might be inclined to kill their pet, then you'll likely do so repeatedly, as your pet will return shortly after being disposed of, either by simply coming back to life or reappearing nearby. How quickly is up to you, but it will always be within 12 hours.
3. Your pet can take care of itself if need be. You're welcome to feed your pet of course, but if you don't, it will care for itself.
   

Pets!

• Akito - Sky Eel - This ribbon eel can swim through the air as well as the water, surviving naturally in both.
• Blurr - Rapidcat - This Cybertronian cat is a lot like the cheetah found on earth, but much larger and much faster. This animal should be able to keep up with its owner well enough, so long as he doesn't get too competitive with it.
• Breakdown - Pangolin - This armored mammal is about the size of a small human adult. It likes to wrap around things and wouldn't mind a secure perch.
• Bulkhead - Scraplet - This little guy is tamed and eats only dead metal unlike it's much more dangerous cousins. It's adorable unless someone upsets its owner at which point it'll show its teeth just like a loyal, territorial dog.
• Bumblebee - Robot T-Rex - This small dinobot is about the size of a Clydesdale, so medium-to-big dog size to his robot owner.
• Devi - Color Puff - This ball of chinchilla-soft fur changes colors constantly (perhaps with its mood? Guess you'll just have to observe behaviors and find out). When it makes sounds it sounds a lot like Guinea Pig squeaks, purrs, and hoots.
• Dirge - Finding Nemo Seagull - This white and gray bird has a tendency to squawk at stuff it lands by. Unfortunately, that squawk sounds a lot like it's saying "mine!" while eyeing whatever shiny caught its attention this time.
• Drift - Boulder - It just looks like a giant rock. But it rolls around after its owner and somehow manages to make cooing sounds.
• Gunmax - Quetzalcoatl - This winged snake is large enough to wrap around its robot owner's arm and hang on.
• Hare - Chinchilla - This small ball of fluff just wants to snuggle.
• Hiro - Helpful Robot - This little guy enjoys fetching things for its owner, just like a playful puppy, though, it may take some convincing to make it let go of whatever it brings.
• Jadewing - Energy Phoenix - This bird is much like it's fiery counterpart. It thrives off of energy and when it dies it does to in a dramatic flash before it is reborn in a shower of sparks.
• Jendayi - Dire Wolf Pup - This wolf pup will be just like a little friend from home. It'll be a great companion and protector as it grows up. Train him well.
• Jetstorm - Dragon - This small dragon is fully grown at about the size of a Labrador. It is very intelligent and loyal to its owner.
• Knock Out - Peacock - This colorful bird is as noisy as his new owner.
• Lea - Fire Elemental - This small, firy being is playful and curious. It makes no vocal sounds, but it's very expressive and loyal.
• Sam - Robot Moose - This mechanical moose is just as big as its organic counterpart. It's very protective of its owner.
• Skyfire - Flutterwing - This Cybertronian sized canary likes to sing lovely melodies for its owner. It has a really pretty voice.
• Soundwave (SG) - Robotic Mountain Goat - This quiet creature likes to perch up high and keep in eye out for dangers that might threaten its owner. The only time it makes a sound is if it spots danger.
• Soundwave - Raven - This isn't just any large black bird. This raven is capable of speaking and often does. It has an unusually extensive vocabulary and ranges of odd sounds it's capable of making, and will learn more and more as time goes on.
• Subzero - Capuchin Monkey - This animal may be small, but it's playful and fully of tricks. It's also smart and can be trained.
• The Spine - Cat - This is a big, fluffy, white cat. Not nearly so big as another familiar cat, but he looks quite similar, just in a much smaller size.
• Thundercracker - Lightning Bird - This amazing bird is made of pure energy. Its fast, proud, regal, and very loyal.
• Wing - Dazzle Weave - This living ribbon of light shifts and curls through the air as it moves. It enjoys draping across its owner and is slightly warm to the touch.
