ACTIVITY CHECK

*~*~*~ACTIVITY CHECK!~*~*~*

AC RULES:

++ Copy/paste and fill out the above textbox in a comment to this post. You may comment once for all of your characters or make separate comments for each, as you choose.
++ This check is for activity spanning from FEBRUARY 1 to MARCH 31.
++ You will need only an Activity Summary for each character in-game. (See below for details.)
++ Characters accepted within the last two weeks are not required to provide an AC Summary. They will, however, be expected to check in now and to provide AC starting with the next check.
++ You have one week from the date of this posting to submit AC for all of your characters.

ACTIVITY SUMMARY:
An activity summary consists of a small paragraph explaining what your character has been up to since the previous Activity Check (or since arriving in the game if you are new). This can be as simple or as detailed as you would like! At the minimum, be sure to hit any events your character has participated in (either game events or character plots) and where they're currently residing. If you'd like to get more detailed (such as drawing up CR charts, mentioning what Guardian they've talked with, or adding links) we're not going to stop you, as this will make a handy future reference for you as well as for us!

The activity summary will help the mods in determining future Guardian plans or interactions for your characters, and especially will keep us from missing anything important about your character. In no way will your activity summary have any effect on you passing or failing activity check, unless it is completely absent. In other words, doing the minimum on this won't hurt you, although going above and beyond can certainly help!

EXCLUSIONS AND EXEMPTIONS:
All characters are expected to participate in an Activity Check. If a character has been in the game for two weeks or more, he/she must have an Activity Summary. Anyone who arrived the last two weeks won't be expected to provide a summary for AC, but they must at least check in so we know they are present and consider themselves active in the game, even if they don't have "enough" activity yet to show of it.

As no activity samples are necessary, there will be no exemptions. However, if you have posted a hiatus of 2 weeks or longer to the official hiatus page during the week of Activity Check, we will check in with you at the posted end of your hiatus.

FAILING ACTIVITY CHECK
If you fail to post to an Activity Check within the week that it is open and you have not contacted the mods beforehand, then any characters not posted will be dropped from the game. The mods will put up a list of characters in danger of being dropped at the end of Activity Check, at which point you (the character's player) will have three days to contact the mods and provide AC and an explanation for failing it. After those three days have passed, the drops will be official, and the characters will be removed from the Taken list and Player Contact page.
dirge: (guh too much)

[personal profile] dirge 2015-04-07 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Character: Dirge
Activity Summary: Dirge learned the care and keeping of tomatoes from Sam, having been told they were much better for farming than humans. On account of reading a magic Valentine's day card, Dirge fell in 'love' with Jendayi in the only way he can. Possessvily. Fortunately she convinced him that her value and well being depended on her not being put in a cage somewhere. Dirge also encountered Flonne, who vowed to find a way for him to feel real love and friendship and also described some demons that reminded Dirge of Decepticons. He also met a human that had no idea he could eat or even had a throat-- to which he demonstrated his long nasty tongue. For the St Patrick's day event, Dirge found a pot of gold, ate about half of it, and caught a leprechaun that granted him his wish.... which was for more arms. Because Dirge. He also successfully begged some gold paint off of Jadewing.

And because I've decided I want to do this because its funny-- A list of all the things Dirge has learned here so far:

(This one is long since I'm including things from the last AC.)

Your word is worthless once broken. Word gradually increases in value
with proof of trustworthiness.

Acquaintance is being 'practice friends.'

Life is valuable because it is finite.

Friends are valuable and want to give you things.

Tomatoes are good for farming.

Happy people make better friends.

Friends don't belong to one another, they belong with one another.

Comm drones and comm drone parts are not valuable.

One must help friends and keep them safe.

Tael'ip means 'odd one'.

Just claiming something doesn't make it yours.

Farming humans is not worth it.

Eating someone only gives you their body, not their spirit.

Fledgling means an inexperienced seeker.

Witches won't let you murder people.

Friends are good for your paint job.

Tiny humans that speak weird give wishes.

The end of colored light bows have pots of gold at the end.

Experiencing love does not involve killing anyone. (But beating them up is okay).
